We have been thinking of your family during this time and enjoyed reading Don's obituary - what a legacy to leave. A tribute to him and God's goodness. To let you know how long it has been since living in Decatur, we celebrated our 42nd anniversary Tuesday. Although we were not at East Park long, we cherish the memories we have of all the friends we made there. May God grant all of your family peace and comfort as you continue on life's journey, looking forward to being reunited with your loved one.
Sincerely,
Ken and Lorena

Pastor Dennis Komis | Praise & Prayer | May 29, 2010 |
Dear Claire and Family,
PRAISE! A faithful servant is promoted. Don is now pain-free, resting in the presence of His Savior and worshipping around the throne with saints and angels.
PRAYER! We know the absence of such a special man leaves your hearts and home with an empty spot, so Chris and I are praying for you. As your lives go on without Don, it is so comforting to know that it will only be for a short while. Jesus is coming soon, and what a happy reunion that day will be!
Our family is so thankful for Don (and you, Claire). Your family has been such a blessing to ours through the years. Watching you folks faithfully serve Christ together, trust the Lord in sickness and in health, and maintain such joyful spirits throughout life's events has been an encouragement to our hearts. May the Lord use His Word, His Spirit, His people to minister comfort and hope to you at this time.
Grace and Peace,
Pastor Dennis Komis
